Frequently asked questions

Do iPhones and Android phones support Wi-Fi QR codes?

Yes. The built-in camera app on iPhone (iOS 11+) and most Android phones can join a network from a Wi-Fi QR code.

Is my Wi-Fi password sent anywhere?

No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser; your password never leaves your device.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The data is stored inside the code itself, so it works forever, even without Zenixbase.

Can I add my logo?

Yes. Error correction switches to High automatically so the code still scans reliably.

Which format is best for printing?

SVG scales to any size without blur. For PNG, choose 2048px or larger.

Why won't my QR code scan?

Usually low contrast. Use a dark color on a light background and keep the quiet zone (margin) at 2 or more.
