Frequently asked questions

Does it work with large Drive files?

Yes. The "can't scan this file for viruses" step is handled for you, so multi-GB files download like any other.

Why does it say the file isn't public?

The file must be shared as "Anyone with the link". Files shared only with specific people can't be downloaded.

Does it use my mobile data?

Only to send the link. Our servers download the file and keep it in your cloud, so you can open or download it later on Wi-Fi.

Which links work?

Public Google Drive files (Docs, Sheets and Slides are saved as Office files), Dropbox, OneDrive, MediaFire and any direct link that points to a file.

Can I download private files?

No. Only links anyone can open without signing in. Folder links aren't supported; use the link of a single file.

How large can the file be?

Up to your plan's per-file limit, as long as it fits in your free storage space.
