Clip Cover: add a cover image to the start of your videos, 50 at a time

Short-video apps use the first frame of a video as its thumbnail, and that frame is rarely the one you want. Clip Cover puts your image in front of every video for 0.2 seconds, so your profile grid shows your cover instead of a random frame. Upload a whole batch, pick the image once and download the finished MP4s.

Why use the Zenixbase Clip Cover

One cover, many videos

Pick the image once and it goes in front of every video in the batch, up to 50 at a time.

Fitted to every video

The cover is sized to each video's own shape and frame rate, vertical or horizontal, so nothing gets stretched.

A blink, no more

The cover shows for just 0.2 seconds without sound, then your video plays from its first frame with its own audio.

Notes and batch tools

Keep a note on each clip and on the batch, swap the cover later and export everything again in one click.

Frequently asked questions

Why put a cover image at the start of a video?

TikTok, Instagram and YouTube use the first frame as the default thumbnail, and some ways of posting (scheduling tools, the web uploader, reposts) don't let you pick a cover at all. With your image as the first frame, the thumbnail is right wherever the video ends up.

Will viewers notice the cover?

Hardly. It's on screen for 0.2 seconds, a quick flash before the video starts, and most viewers never register it.

What if my image and my video are different shapes?

Choose Fill to crop the image so it covers the whole frame, or Fit to show the whole image on a blurred copy of itself.

Is it free?

Yes. Clip Cover is included with every Zenixbase account. The videos and the exports count toward your storage.
